What is coffee fruit and CognatiQ®?
Coffee begins as a fruit, often called a coffee cherry. Inside the fruit are the seeds most people know as coffee beans. While traditional coffee production focuses on the bean, the surrounding fruit naturally contains polyphenols and other plant compounds.
CognatiQ® is a patented whole coffee fruit extract developed from this fruit. It is a non-stimulant ingredient, so its role is different from caffeine. Research has examined CognatiQ® for BDNF and areas of cognitive performance including working memory, accuracy, processing speed, cognitive control, and mental fatigue.

A protein involved in how the brain adapts and communicates.
BDNF stands for brain-derived neurotrophic factor. It is a naturally occurring protein involved in neuron growth, neural connectivity, learning, memory, and cognitive adaptability.

What is coffee-bean caffeine?
Caffeine is a naturally occurring compound found in coffee beans. It works primarily by blocking adenosine receptors, which can reduce the sensation of tiredness and increase alertness.
ElektricWater sources its caffeine from organic coffee beans rather than using a synthetic caffeine source.
We call it clean caffeine because of where it comes from and what is not added around it: no sugar, no calories, and no artificial ingredients. “Clean” describes our ingredient and formulation approach; caffeine is still caffeine and individual sensitivity varies.

What are antioxidants?
Antioxidants are compounds that help neutralize free radicals. Free radicals are reactive molecules created through normal metabolism and exposure to factors such as exercise, pollution, and everyday environmental stress.
When free-radical activity exceeds the body’s defenses, it can contribute to oxidative stress. Antioxidants help support the body’s normal protective systems.
